Need just a little more information please. What version are you trying to install? Do you currently have a lower version of exchange installed? Did you run forestprep / domainprep first?

Yes, I had rights. This is a devopment environment that use to have Exchange 2003 on. We're trying to install Exchange 2007. We just went ahead and reloaded Exchange 2003 and then installing 2007 on the system and it finally worked. Thanks! -John
