Exchange connector for POP3 mailboxes hangs
Hi,
For the last few days, we are having problems with our SBS 2003 Exchange Server.
The built-in connector for POP3 mailboxes stops working and no e-mail is delivered to the users. Only after rebooting the server, it works again for a few hours.
Even if I try to restart the POP3 connector service, I get an error saying that it tried to restart but it was shutted down automatically.
I beg that if you know how to solve this, please give me a hand.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Xavier

You should look in the eventlog and look at the error that is causing the POP3 service to fail to start

Deli,
Thank you for your reply.
The eventlog doesn't say much. It only says that the event (POP3 Connector) was terminated with one or more errors, but no detail of these errors is shown.
The eventlog shows an alert for every mailbox we have, but all are the same.
Event Id: 1023, but the Events web page gives no detail about it either.
