Exchange cant retrieve external mails.
Hello, Am using SBS 2011 and exchange 2010. initial maxmailsize set at 10mb, increased to 20mb. Through this site. Heavy mail now in the mailbox. Good + Thank You. Now, i see new mails when i log into the ISP yet pop3 connector sees no new mails while trying to retrieve. Internal mails within the domain, ok. Out going mails to other domains, ok too. incoming (external)mails stop at the ISP and pop3 doesn't see them as new mails hence does not retrieve them. log pasted below. ======================================================= Log opening: 09:44:02 : 08/21/12 [t 0] 08/21/12, 09:44:02: -- Pop3Connector -- [t 0] 08/21/12, 09:44:02: Options: 0x6031 [t 0] 08/21/12, 10:43:45: Beginning "Retrieve Now"... However, if STAT (a POP3 command http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc1939.txt) isn't reporting any new messages then the ISP has no messages in their maildrop for you. You'll have to ask them why. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP
