Exchange attachments slow
Hello, I have an Exchange 2007 server . The machine is good and it is not overloaded. I have a forefront server installed on the same platform also. Everything works just fine. The only problem that I have is with the attachment processing. Every time when I have to uploada large attachment file I have to wait long long time. The first think that appeared in my mind was the network connectivity. That's why I have triedto upload attachment using the remote desktop connection on the same machine. I havestarted the web interface and there I have tried to attach 27MB file. The operation toke 18 seconds. What could be the reason for that strange behaviour. I have lost minutes duringthesending process of a file ~ 20 MB (the connection speed is 10Mbit) when I have used my Outlook 2007 or the Web access. I was able to attach it fast but the sending was slow. Thanks in advanceKrasimir

Hi,I suggest we disable all the Scalable Networking Pack Advanced TCP/IP Features to check this issue: To disable the TCP Chimney offload feature, open a command prompt and run the following command: Netsh int ip set chimney DISABLEDTo disable the other SNP features, you can set the values for the EnableRSS and EnableTCPA TCP/IP registry parameters to 0 in the Windows registry. For detailed steps to do this, see Knowledge Base article 936594.You may experience network-related problems after you install Windows Server 2003 SP2 or the Scalable Networking Pack on a Windows Server 2003-based computer.http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=936594ThanksAllen
