Hello All...........My external domain was listed on RATS-Dyna because we did not had any PTR record.  Now, we have a PTR record against the Mail Server, but our IP Address is still listed in the Block List. How can we get it deleted from the list?  What is the procedure?

There is no procedure defined in the link, it only mentions having Reverse DNS in place that resolves into Mail Server Address, which I already have in place? Yet, I am still in the Block List?

Most blacklists will update themselves when they see that something has changed. If there is no removal process then either

a. They do it automatically.

b. They feel you are on a dynamic IP address and will not remove you.

You should check using one of the many online tools whether your PTR is present and correct. If you have only recently asked your ISP to make the change, then it could be that everything has not updated yet.

I am not using Dynamic IP Address and it has been 2-3 days after the change and it is perfectly visible on the online tools, but still the status remains the same. :(

I have just checked the web site again and there is a removal procedure listed on the page for that blocklist.

Doesn't mean you will get off the list though.
While you may have a static IP address, it might be in a range that is also used for dynamic addresses. Blacklists are a pain as they can blacklist what they like and don't have to justify themselves to anyone.

Procedure is there, but all it says it create reverse DNS Record.  Which I already have.  This is really bad if they do not allow specific legitimate IP Address exclusion from the range.  How are we going to resolve this then?

If the site is claiming that you don't have a valid PTR, or has another reason for blacklisting you, then there is nothing you can do to resolve the issue. The blacklist is a third party over which you have no control or influence. You could ask your ISP for another IP address that isn't listed in dynamic list, but that is about all that is possible.

It isn't a popular blacklist - if you were on SpamHaus or similar then you might have more problems.

Unlikely. Most blacklists are only interested in the IP address. SPF records aren't connected to the IP, they are a DNS record.

I have created SPF record and you were spot on, it has not changed anything.  I am still listed in the Block List.

This only mentions PTR for SMTP Host which is already in place.  Have gone into feedback and submitted a request stating the same with no response from them.
