Exchange System Manager - A required resource could not be loaded Error Message
Hi All. Apologies if this is in the wrong section of the forum. I couldn't really find anywhere else suitable. Server 2003 SP1 Exchange 2003 (currently unsure of exact version details because of the current problem.) We today took over the support at a company with the above setup. They have some other servers but nothing that i think is relevant to this problem. When we open ESM we get the following error: A Required Resource could not be loaded, probably due to insufficient memory. Close some applications or windows and try again. ID No:c10306ac Exchange System Manager Now the exchange services are all running fine, SMTP service is fine, in fact from an end user point of view, nothing is wrong! The users are all connected to the exchange (in non cached mode) and are sending are receiving absolutely fine. ESM Is working from a client machine, but i would like to try and get it working on the server its self. Ive googled and can find little to no information regarding the error above and ESM. Any help appreciated! If you're willing to play a bit, you can try to uninstall ESM and then install it again. lasse at humandata dot se, http://anewmessagehasarrived.blogspot.com

Regarding to the issue, it can occur by several factors, such as incompatible third party programs, insufficient Memory in the Global Heap or Windows System Resources. To troubleshoot the issue, I Suggest you perform the following steps. 1. Perform a Clean Boot on Windows 2003 machine. 2. Run Windows Update and scan whether there is any latest updates. Meanwhile, please check whether there is any error message in Application Log. If so, please post it here for research. Thanks.
