Exchange Server time related rules
Hi All, I've been asked to create a rule based on time in Exchange Server 2003 (and 2007 in a few months we hope!). We have a service that is provided by one unit so far so the service mailbox is active 24/7. The service will be split and 2 units will take care of it in a few days. The 'day unit' which is the current one and the 'night unit' which is the new one working on the service. We need to 'store & forward' email arriving to the 'day unit' service mailbox to the 'night unit' service mailbox between 8pm and 8am. Does anyone know how can I setup a time based rule in Exchange 2003? I only have a general and brief experience in Powershell so if that's the line to follow to achieve my goal where can I find usefull info? Thank you David

Exchange 2003 and 2007 allow you to write custom event sinks that could accomplish this task, but you need to re-post in the development area for that. Otherwise this is not possible, but this might be better addressed by altering whatever the source of smtp submissions is.Development Forum:http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvrdevelopment/threads Mike Crowley A+, Network+, Security+, MCT, MCSE, MCTS, MCITP: Enterprise Administrator / Messaging Administrator
