Exchange Server responds slowly
Hello,I would like to know waht step need to be done when you face Exchange server slowness??I did run perfmon but from that I don't really know what counters need to be run... I ran Memory - Available MBytes + Paging File - % Usage + Physical Disk - % Disk Time But please tell me what other action should be done. Thanks to all in advance

Here are list of common and Exchange role specific performance monitor counters which needs to be monitored for basic hygiene of Exchange environment... Monitoring Without System Center Operations Manager http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb201720.aspx Once you collect the result in blg file for a day then PAL is the tool which can analyze the collected counter values and gives you nice statistics in html report so you don't have to scan the things manually... Which version of Exchange are you running? Exactly what performance issue are you facing? was it reported by outlook clients? do you see any unusual events in application logs.
