Exchange Server Certificate Subject Name
Hi All Techie,What would be the most suitable SAN (Subject Alternative name) that we should include in order to get the valid certificate for Microsoft Exchange Server ?let say we only have to choose 3, then which name should we put into our certificate ?1. domain.com2. autodiscover.domain.com3. servername.domain.com4. owa.domain.combecause listing too many name under one certificate is too expensive and wasting money I think. Thanks

If this cert is only going to be used for Exchange then I would request the cert name of owa.domain.com with a SAN of autodiscover.domain.com. I don't like using servername.domain.com on a cert because you may need to use it on a different server in the future. Thanks Will

Yes Will, that does make sense,domain.comowa.domain.comautodiscover.domain.comshould be listed in the sertificate I'll have to re submit my request to COMODO then as I've got UCC with 3 names listed under that cert/Thanks Will, really appreciate your response.

It worked Will, now my site is secured with the SSL cert. after I install the Root cert. and then the Intermediate cert, and finally importing the SSL cert, from EMC its done ! but by listing autodiscover.domain.com still notget rid of Offline addressbook erro: 11:19:31 Microsoft Exchange offline address book 11:19:31 Not downloading Offline address book files. A server (URL) could not be located. 11:19:31 0X8004010F
