Exchange Server 2013 Enterprise - Inbound Email from Internet

Hello,

We are having difficulties to receive Email from Internet to our Exchange server. Receiving and sending internal Emails works fine, also we can send Emails to Internet successfully. Could anyone advise how to receive Emails from Internet?

Thanks and regards,

TEB

Hi

The default receive connector has anonymous access enabled already however you need the prereqs as below.

Did you add the accepted domain in exchange as well?

Hi TEB,

Thank you for your question.

In addition sneffs suggestion, is there NDR when we send email from external to internal?

If there is an Edge server in organization, we could re-create Edge subscription to check if the issue persist.

We could restart the Exchange transport service and run the following command to check if all server component state is active:

Get-ServerComponentstat Identity <servername>

If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.

Best Regard,

Jim

Hi Teb,

We could use the following command to make sure all components are active:

Set-ServerComponentState -Component <Component Name> -Identity <ServerName> -State Active

Then we could check if we could receive email from external.

Tell us more details which is A colleague of mine advises that we shouldn't set to use MX.?

If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.

Best Regard,

Jim
