Exchange Server 2007 Global Address List, Sort by LastName, FirstName
Hello all, Well I have searched high and low and can't seem to find the answer here on the forum. Is there a way to sort the Global Address List in Exchange 2007 by LastName, FirstName? I know it probably has a setting in the Organization Configuration\Hub Transport\Email Address Policies, but we can't seem to get it figured. Right now we have two Email address Policies, The default, which is Lowest and the one named after our Email Server Domain, which has priority 1. Any help would be most appreciated Thanks Mike

Hi, You can have a look into this article which changes the display name in ADSIEDIT only, be careful while changing & it will also change the email address if applied since email address are base in display name only & the article is : http://support.microsoft.com/kb/250455/en-usRipu Daman Mina | MCSE 2003 & MCSA Messaging

I have seen that link before and unfortunately it is for Exchange 2000 and 2003. We had our AD way before we implemented Exchange. Furthermore our Exchange and AD domains utilize different domain names..that is..our AD is NAME.GOV and our Exchange is Name.State.Gov. I am looking at Exchange 2007 and using the Email Address Policies. Our Server is Windows 2008 Enterprise Thanks for the reply....but I do not want to change the entire AD naming structure... Anyone else?
