Hi Friends, I m trying to Install Exchange Server 2007 Management tools on my laptop having Vista Service Pack 1. I have Installed Powersheell. But when I reach readiness check i get the following error and I am not able to proceed. Summary: 1 item(s). 0 succeeded, 1 failed. Please confirm the version of the vista and exchange installation files, whether they are all 32-bit or 64-bit Please check if theres any error event in the application log both on the client and servers Corrupted media can cause such issue, please try to use another copy of the source files. Elapsed Time: 00:00:24I have Vista Service pack 1 installed on my laptop. The desktop on which the installation has been smooth also so has Vista Service pack 1. But Vinod, i hve installed the same Exchange Server 2007 on a desktop have Windows Vista. The installation went very smooth without any hiccups. But i am unable to install on my laptop having the same OS and Service Pack.

Just a quick question, are you using Exchange 2007 SP1 source with the correct edition (32/64 bit) as per Windows Vista 32/64bit edition? Because Exchange 2007 RTM is not supported to run on Vista... You cannot install the Exchange Management Console or the Exchange System Manager on a Windows Vista-based computer if you come under this url http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931903other wise just install the prerequest and check you vista version it should be greater the SP1...
