Exchange Server 2003 System Attendant Error when Accessing OWA Calendar
Users receive an error when they try to create a calendar entry via OWA or a reply to an appointment via OWA. The entry gets created on the calendar and the appointment is added to user's calendar. But they still receive the following message: System Attendant el 24/10/2011 17:28 The e-mail address could not be found. Perhaps the recipient moved to a different e-mail organization, or there was a mistake in the address. Check the address and try again. We have a DC - windows server 2008 and Exchange Server that is windows server 2003.

Hi Joe, How about using Outlook? When you create a calendar or reply an appointment, could you please make sure all the recipients are from GAL and valid. Thanks.Best Regards!

Hi Rowen-Xu, Using Outlook there is no problem at all. Users can do every type of activity on their calendars. The problem is presented only when the user is accesing OWA (https) and he/she creates or responds to something related to calendar activities, on both cases the item gets generated on the calendar. But the user receives automaticaaly the message from System Attendant. All the users are on that GAL. I should add that on our environment: The exchange server is a Exchange 2003 Enterprise Edition We have Two Mailbox Stores under First Storage Group OWA should I look to some permissions or do I have to apply any fix for this problem? Thanks, Joe

Hi Joe, Did this problem affect all the users? If not please check whether the users in one Mailbox Store had this problem. Have you checked your event log and any information there? Also you can reset iis for test. Thanks.Best Regards!
