Exchange SBS 2003 Received Date Stamp Is Wrong
Yesterday I setup an SBS2003 R2 server running Exchange Version: 6.5.7226.0 When I connected the exchange to the ISP POP server the exchange server started to download the emails that had been sitting there for a few months. However, I soon realized that the received date in Microsoft Outlook of all the emails, including those that were received last week or last month by the POP server, were now showing a received date of June 10, 2010 Why was the original received date stamp of the email changed? How do I prevent this from happening to the other 3 mailboxex I have to import? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

The POP Connector is an SBS component, not an Exchange component. I recommend that you post your question in an SBS forum for better expertise. Or, better, you have your mail delivered by SMTP as the Internet was designed to work. -- Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems." .
