Exchange Roll up 6
A few weeks ago I worked with Premier support to load an Exchange 2007 Rollup 5 Interim update for a known bug that was not made public. I now need to apply Rollup 6 to resolveMS09-003. From my understandning the interim patch for rollup 5 will not work with 6. My servers will not run with out the interim patch. Is anyone else dealing with this or know if a interim rollup 6 is going to be available?ThanksBy the way the interim rollup 5 patch fixes the following. My stores kept dismounting and remounting. Here is the fix that I believe may solve your Information Store crash issue. The ID I was seeing that led me to this is: Event ID : 9673 Raw Event ID : 9673 Record Nr. : 12316 Category : None Source : MSExchangeIS Type : Error Generated : 1/26/2009 7:09:15 PM Written : 1/26/2009 7:09:15 PM Machine : Message : An exception with code 0xc00000fd was thrown in module ; some parameters and their values were <Exception address - 77ef7b2e>. A significant section of the call stack is in the data section.

Just found out that MSFT will not have an interim for rollup 6 for at least 2-3 weeks. Looks like I wont be able to secure my servers until then.

Hi,Before we apply rollups for Exchange Server, we need to uninstall all the interim rollups. However, I found that the interim update you mentioned will be included in rollup 7,so please do not uninstall that interim update,we may need to wait for Rollup7. So far, I recommned you to skip to install rollup 6.Regards,Xiu

HiGregorio,MikeIf you have interium update which will be included in Rollup 7,then please wait for Rollup 7 and do not unistall the interium update.Besides, if you have encountered the issue which could be fixed by Rollup 6,then please feel free to contact PSS to get help.Regards,Xiu
