Exchange Performance Issues
We have just migrated over to Exchange 2007. We are having several issue ranging from performance to OAB problems. I will start first with the server issues. The server in question is a Dell 1950 server with2Quad core processors, 4 gb ram, raid 1 300gb 15k SAS HDD. We have 350 mailboxes that range in size up to 768 mb most users are under 120 mb. We have moved all roles off to other servers except for the mailbox role. We have noticed the longer the server is left alone the more ram it uses until it stops responding. We then reboot and everything runs great for about a week. Almost seems like the Exchange 2000 memory leek problem. Has anyone ran into yet?

Exchange is built to use RAM, its store.exe that caches alot of information in RAM that otherwise must go to disk. and of course more uptime more caching is done and more RAM i used up to a point.Setting of page file size is important, recomendations is RAM + 10 MB Scalable networking pack http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2007/07/18/446400.aspxcan have a huge impact on your servers aswell.
