Exchange Online
I'm a computer tech for a school system and I'm having some issues with Exchange Online. I'm not experienced with Exchange so bear with me. The majority of our users use the web app and we have some users who need to be able to receive .mdb attachments which are blocked. If there is a way to unblock .mdb files in the web app that would be a huge help. I know how to unblock the attachments using Outlook 2007 but I'm not able to get these accounts set up for some reason. When we first started using Exchange Online we had a few users that didn't like the web app and wanted to use Outlook 2007 so we set them up with no problems. Now when I try to set up Outlook 2007 I get these errors. When trying the automatic setup: "An encrypted connection to your mail server is not available. Click next to attempt using an unencrypted connection." If I try to manually enter the server info: "The action cannot be completed. The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action." Solving either problem would be great. Thanks.

If it is Live@EDU the forum is Outlook Live Answers. For the first question, if it's Live@EDU or Office 365 you won't be able to unblock attachment types. For the second question, you probably need to double check your DNS configuration for autodiscover, as even with the changes from R4 to R5 this shouldn't have affected it if it's correctly setup.
