I am try to set up using ADFS for OWA authentication. I follow this post and try to do this.

The problem is  when I try to enable enable AD FS authentication on the OWA in the powershell, it said I need to enable AD FS authentication on ECP First. Is it true? I only want to enable ADFS for OWA, not for ECP.

Why not both? I dont think you have a choice however. It will enable ADFS for both

I agree with Andy.

In addition, after we enable ADFS for owa, when we login owa and click OPTION, it will call ECP virtual directory. You could refer to the link which Rhodmerick supply.
