Exchange Mailbox Management Policy
We have a recipient policy in exchange to delete email older than 180 days Users have a set of folder called "record retention" under their inbox in which they can move emails that they do not want deleted for example inbox/record retention/1 year inbox/record retention/permanent the problem is that i looked at some recent logs and saw that some emails were deleted from the permanent folder the policy is configured as follows inbox delete older than 180 days sent items - 180 days all other folders - 180 days I also added the path to each record retention folder and configured to only delete if older than 999999 (essentially should never get deleted) I am wondering why they still got deleted. any ideas? environment is exchange 2000 sp3, windows xp with office 2007 sp2 in windows 2000 domain Thanks
