The store will take as much memory as it get get its hands on. This is normal behavior and nothing to worry about.

Well i don't think soo.. Kindly give some feasible solution Thanks Hello sir, He is indeed correct. The store.exe process will consume as much available memory on the machine as possible. It does this for caching purposes to improve transactional I/O performance. It is completely normal.

On my server I run more than just exchange and store.exe is using 19.5 gigs of the twenty it has. It's performance is slow as hell as it only lets other processes use 500 megs of ram. It also is thrashing my disk due to the other processes on the computer being forced to use pagefile memory to exist. Please advise.

And if you say this is normal one more time on one more post where someone is asking how to put a leash on store.exe I'm gonna scream. there is no excuse for a mailserver with fifteen mailboxes to use TWENTY GIGS OF FRIGGIN RAM!!!! thank you have a nice day please tell me you have something intelligent to say and you are not just pretending to know about this subject.

They posted a retort as an answer. did they ever answer it. I have a 12 mailbox server using twenty gigs of ram and thrashing my disk to boot. This saying the problem is a "feature" Bull$hi+ is getting old.

Not correct. would you guys please come up with a way to make your bs mailserver work. It cost my boss thousands now I can't use anything else on the server. HELLO I've been asking you guys for a solution for almost a year now and now I've lost a drive to this "feature" I hate proprietary closed-source Bull$hi+ software with no support.

By design. ESe will take as much memory as you give it and use it for database buffers. J
