Exchange Loadgen error - No users have been defined in the active configuration
Hi All, having an issue running Loadgen on a Win XP box connecting to an exchagne 2003 server. I have installed loadgen all ok. and have had it running fine in a lab enviroment. how ever when i configure it to run on a clients site, doing pretty much what i did in my lab enviroment, i get an error thrown. No Users have been defined in the active configuration, unable to initalise task engine. the only difference i can see in what i am doing is the user count, in my lab i did 10 users, on site im trying to do 400. any ideas on what is going on?have had a look in AD. Loadgen is creating its OU structure and the 400 user accounts. i am configuring it so some of those users are in a light test, some in average and some in heavy. not sure where else to look!thanks

At which step do you get this error?Have you been able to initialize the databases?Have you been able to run LoadGen just with a single user by modifying the LDAP filter so that it does pick a single user instead of all users beneath the OU?

the error occours whn you initalise the test before you run the test. load gen does exactly the same thing with just one user selected.
