HI,Per my knowledge Exchange Transaction logs sequence is limited to one million, so I think that limit is reached by Information Store on your exchange server, Thats why that event might be display in event viewer. The limit is reached Exchange information Store will stop.first you must move existing transaction logs to new location, after do this new transaction log sequence will start with 0x00001 Try below procedure to reset numbering Sequence. 1) Dismount all Databases in the Storage group 2) Verify Database is on clean shutdown if not you have to repair it. Use below command to check it Type Eseutil /mh Database file name 3) Check status whether Clean Shutdown or Dirty Shutdown 4) Move logs and checkpoint files to another location in case a recovery is required from an old database 5) Mount all databases 6) Backup Storage group Resource Complete task plan can be find below TechNet KB Store databases are dismounted without warning or users cannot log on to their mailboxes in Exchange Server 2003 or in Exchange 2000 Server How to Reset the Transaction Log Numbering Sequence Regards Chinthaka

Hi Anjana, The Event id 514 indicates that "ALMOST_OUT_OF_LOG_SEQUENCE_ID" it is by design. The resolution for this is to reset the log generation as already mentioned by Chinthaka.
