Did you add MX record to your public DNS? Open TCP 25 port for SMTP on firewall is not enough. You should forward (or NAT) traffic to the Edge Server IP address. You should configure Edge Sync between Edge Server and internal Exchange Server. Edge Server Default Receive Connector should accept traffic from anonymous users. With Exchange 2003, you have to configure SMTP connector. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/265293 Best regards;Best Regards Don't forget to mark it as answer if it helps

Hi Kevin, I would explain the internal process of the mail routing, it would need the following aspects: 1. It needs three roles at least to let exchange work. They are HUB, CAS, Mailbox. 2. HUB and Edge connect internet both need send connector and receive connector. 3. Internet user send mail to your exchange need the public DNS Server to resolve. So, you need to add MX Record and A Record for exchange HUB and Edge. Configure Internet Mail Flow Through a Subscribed Edge Transport Server http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb738158.aspx 4. It you have Edge Server deployed, then please make sure that you have do edgesubscription: Managing Edge Subscriptions http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124096.aspx Wendy

Can you telnet to port 25 from externally ? You may need to adjust the permissions on your default connectors. http://blogs.technet.com/b/exchange/archive/2006/11/17/3397307.aspx-- Jeremy McSpadden Flux Labs

Hello, Please use Exchange message tracker in an attempt to locate the emails your sending outbound and receiving inbound. At the very least it should give some indication how far your outbound emails are getting in the send process. Additionally, are you getting any errors (NDR's) returned to sender when sending outbound or inbound? If so please post here. Kind Regards
