Exchange Data Extraction
Hey, everyone. I'm in need of a solution to extract data from an EDB based on some basic parameters. Essentially, I need to sweep the entire EDB and export any emails sent to a particular individual (recipient). From what I can gather, ExMerge does not support recipient filtering (only subject line and attachment message). I've come across Export-Mail and Import-Mail which are the new utilities that took the place of ExMerge for Exchange 2007+, but I don't think they are compatible with 2003. Is this correct? Are there any other third-party tools that can help me out?

Check out Lucid8's DigiScope http://www.lucid8.com/product/digiscope.asp it can do what you need and can even open and OFFLINE EDB so that your can Browse, Search (basic and advanced searches through all emails fields, attachments etc) and then Export to PST, MSG, and XML or recover data directly into a production Exchange Server (Even alternate versions i.e. 2003- >2010 etc)Troy Werelius www.Lucid8.com

1. Correct that those commandss are not applicable to 2003, it will not work, 2. You use Ontrack and other tools, possibly Quest tools and the above. Search google for this.Sukh
