Exchange DB and Logs exploding due to Client Mailbox limit
Hello Community, we have a silly problem in our environment. We have Exchange 2003 Servers and Outlook 2003 Clients. The Clients have an additional POP3 account implemented in theirExchange Profile. When the Exchange Mailbox Limit with send and receive Emails is reached (Mailbox disabled) and a client is receiving Emails over his POP3 Account (Outlook in cached Mode) the Exchange Server is exploding , the Databes Size is increasing and the mount of Logilfes is exploding ? Any Ideas ? Thank ouy for any idea Thomas Leinberger

Disable "Cached Mode" .

Thank you Amey, but we have a lot of Notebook Users they cant do that. Theres really no solution. Microsoft has it fixed with Outlook 2007 to select another location for the implemented POP3 Accounts. Thank you and have a nice day Thomas
