Do you have a question? Be aware that with your proposed set-up you won't be able to use Network Load Balancing for fault tolerance on the Client Access and Hub Transport functions. You can't combine failover clustering, components of which are used for the DAG, with NLB on the same servers. Since you're virtualizing, you might consider separating the Mailbox role from the Hub Transport and Client Access roles on each.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

I can't answer that in a short-answer forum like this. I suggest that you model your requirements using the Exchange 2010 Mailbox Server Role Storage Calculator. http://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/v144-of-the-Exchange-2010-1912958d.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

For pure storage design for Hyper-V, please use the “Hyper-V” forum which would be the best place for the question For exchange storage, the information below will help: “Best Practices for Supported Storage Configurations” section in Understanding Storage ConfigurationPlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.
