I've installed Exchange 5.5, 2003 and 2007. None of them ever asked me for information about CALs. To my knowledge, there's not even a place in the Exchange Management Console to enter data for the licenses. I just did a search in Exchange 2007 help for CAL and for "client access license." The only thing it returned was what they are and the differences between standard and enterprise CALs for Exchange 2007.Do you keep a list of all of your licenses here:https://eopen.microsoft.comEach time you purchase a license, you should head over there and input it. Depending on the product, you actually *have* to put it in there to get the Product Key Code to install the software.
