Hi Florin, I would like to explain that we are unable to change the Meeting organizer, but after my research, I think we have workaround for this issue. For example: If a recurring meeting is changing to a new organizer, there is not a way to reassign the ownership of the meeting. The original organizer should send an update with a new end date the past meetings remain on everyones calendars, but future occurrences after the end date are removed. The new meeting organizer should send a new meeting request for meetings in the future. Therefore, the best practice for handling when someone leaves and you need to change organizer is as follows: 1. Make a list of the meetings organized by the employee that is leaving or has left. 2. Logon on the employees mailbox by Outlook and open the related meetings, Click "Cancel Meeting" on each item that requires cancellation. Make sure you send the cancellation to all attendees when prompted. 3. Give adequate time for attendees to process the cancellations and clear their calendars of the meeting. 4. Send a new meeting from the new organizers calendar. In the event the organizers mailbox has already been deleted from Active Directory, we need to manually remove the meetings from each attendees calendar. If therere too many attendees, you may consider using custom code to remove the meeting. Or you can consider using Exmerge (for Exchange 2003) or Export-mailbox (for Exchange 2007) command if the subject of the meeting is unique. Please understand that once the organizer mailbox is gone, the meetings become "headless" and no automated cancellation is possible.
