Exchange 5.5 Missing LDAP Protocol
Im in the process of doing an in-place upgrade from exchange 5.5 to 2000. When I open the Exchange System Manager and drill down to the protocols folder I do not have an LDAP protocol. I know this is needed in order to do the upgrade to 2000.Any ideas as to why its not there or how I can add it? Thanks in advance.

I found that if I bring up the properties of my exchange server in the System Manager and go to the Directory Access tab, I can see that my domain controller is using port 389 for LDAP on the DCand port 3268 for LDAP on the GC. This looks to me as if its using LDAP but the protocol just isnt showing up in the protocols folder with the rest of them. Also, when I fire up the Active Directory Connector Manager on my DC and try to set up an recipient connection agreement I cant connect using either of those ports. ???
