Exchange 2013 smarthost ISP

Hi guys

my ISP blocks all ports to send emails with,

have to use port 587 to send emails over the internet using my isp smarthost.

the smarthost need to have a verfication before send the email.

can you advise how can i apply those settings on the exchange 2013 to be able to send emails using my ISP smarthost ?

If you need to create a send connector that authenticates itself to the smarthost:

Choose Route mail through smart hosts, and then click Add Add Icon. In the Add smart host window, specify the IP address, such as 192.168.100.1, or the fully qualified domain name (FQDN), such as contoso.com. Click Save.

For Smart host authentication, choose the type of authentication required by the smart host. If you choose Basic authentication, you must provide a user name and password.

You can set the port to any value you want with set-sendconnector

If your ISP requires 587, then set it to that.

Thank you for your answer.

i am picking up the emails using pop3 connector and trying to send them using my isp smart host or my host domain host.

both of them are not working

SMTP port is set to 578.

if i use the same settings on outlook profile using pop account it sent fine.

please advise where to check this issue
