Exchange 2013 random ping time outs for smtp and pop3 services

We have a 3rd party monitoring services setup to query for pop3 and smtp ports 110 and 25 and seeing a random timeouts for both services such as below

Hi,

Please make sure the related Exchange services are started and running in your Exchange server. Then check the POP settings:

Get-PopSettings | FL

Confirm whether the client users can send and receive messages or not. Also collect any error logs from Exchange server instead of third-party program for further analysis.
