Exchange 2013 owa error due to regional setting

Hi All,

I have one cas and one db exchange 2013 servers.

I find that once i set the user regional setting to English(Hong Kong), owa will prompt a error msg as below:

something went wrong

Sorry, we can't get that information right now. Please try again later. If the problem continues, contact your helpdesk.

X-ClientId: RCQK - POTE - WQNE - IGNHG X-OWA-Error: ScriptLoadError;Failed to load script: https://XXXXXX/owa/prem/15.0.1076.9/scripts/globalize/globalize.culture.en-hk.js X-OWA-Version: null X-FEServer: XXX-XXX01 X-BEServer: undefined

Once i change the regional setting to other language, Chinese, English US, the user can access owa normally.

I have search it but don't find any related information. My exchange server is fresh install and most recent update patched

Regards,

Andrew

Hi,

Basis on your post, I understand that failed change user regional setting to English(Hong Kong) and return an error X-OWA-Error: ScriptLoadError; Failed to load script: https://XXXXXX/owa/prem/15.0.1076.9/scripts/globalize/globalize.culture.en-hk.js.
If I misunderstand your concern, please do not hesitate to let me know.

I want to double confirm whether all user or special account experience this question.
How about change a workstation or other browser with problematic account for testing?

Please try change the regional setting by EMS for testing, for your reference: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997435(v=exchg.141).aspx (It's related to Exchange 2010)

Hi Allen,

Thanks for your reply. Base on my testing, every users change their regional setting to English(Hong Kong) will return X-OWA-Error: ScriptLoadError;, i test for both domain admin user and domain user.

For the regional setting by EMS, the region code list doesn't contain English(Hong Kong). But  user can change their regional setting to English(Hong Kong) by first time login or ECP. I can provide screen cap if you want.

Andrew

finally found that the file "globalize.culture.en-hk.js" is missing in the Exchange Mailbox server under "prem/15.0.1076.9/scripts/globalize/"

I copy "globalize.culture.en-us.js" and rename to "globalize.culture.en-hk.js" and it is working smooth now. Dunno why the script file missing, i am using the exchange 2013 ISO download from microsoft vlsc.
