Currently I am in the process of planning to migrate my servers to Windows Server 2012 R2, but I cannot find any documentation on setting up Exchange 2013 in this environment.

My current environment is WSE 2012 running on its own hardware, with a Windows Server Standard running a VM with the Exchange Server installed.  I would like everything on the same version.

 

Any suggestions?

Hi Bob, there is no offical update from MS on the Exchange 2013 on Windows 2012 R2, you have to wait for a confirmation

But I tried Exchange 2013 on Windows 2012 R2 (Test Lab) and didnt experience any issue

Better u wait for Update\announcement from MS, May be, they announce CU3 will support on windows 2012 r2 ;) 

2012 R2 will be supported with SP1 of Exchange 2013. while we have found no issues running It on CU3 we are still testing it and it will not be supported on CU3 for production use.

Any ETA on Exchange 2013 SP1?  I just burned my last TechNet incident getting my environment back into  working shape on Server 2012.

Hello,

I agree with Rajkumar's sugegstion. There is no related technet article to verify whether you can install exchange 2013 on windows server 2012 r2.

Maybe we need to do some tests to verify whether the environment is supported.
