Exchange 2013 installation Problem

When I try to finalize installation of Exchange 2013, I get the Readiness Check message saying "Installing Exchange on a domain controller is not recommended" How do I resolve this issue?

Thanks

Hi Gyverzam

Do you install Exchange 2013 on a DC?

Are you kidding me? It is generally not recommended to install any Exchange version on a DC! You can install Exchange 2013 on a 2008 R2 or 2008 DC only in a test environment but not on W2K12. You must install Exchange 2013 on a member server. This means you have to install another server, join it as a domain member (computer object) and then you can install Exchange. Dominik

Remember that you can run hyper-v stand alone and 2 virtual instances of 2012 on 1 standard licens :)

Thanks Dominik, will try doing that but since am still using the trial copy of exchange 2013 wouldn't it be easier to get the 2011 small business server with Exchange 2013? whats your take?
