Exchange 2013 hybrid HA

we are planning to move to O365 and will be deploying Exchange 2013 hybrid multi-role servers in Exchange 2010 org. we know that HLB is recommended for HA and understand the limitations of NLB.

Can someone point me to any documentation about NLB setup for Exchange 2013 hybrid servers? Are there any special configs?

Thanks folks

Thanks Philip. I have seen both these resources you have included already and they have a lot of great info, but neither talks about HA for hybrid servers.

Can someone let me know if they have used NLB (I know HLB is preferred, but don't have one) for hybrid servers HA?

Yes, Have done that, but I think you will find the general recommendation is to not do that in a lot of cases. Why?

You can isolate traffic and it makes troubleshooting easier.

So maybe use 2 hybrid servers - each with the correct cert to match their DNS names and set those as the endpoints between on-prem and o365. now if you decide to go the load balanced route and arent seeing any issues, then go for it.
