Exchange 2013 errors in eventlog 1039, 4999, 1007, 7031

Hi,

we have a new Exchange 2013 Server (Cas+Mbx) CU6 on Server 2012 R2 with the following four error-events in eventlog (about every 30 minutes). I didnt find any information about it so maybe someone know's the cause for it? (its a german server so I hope the information are enough to recognize)

Kind regards

Hi Patrick,

Base on my search, I recommend you try the following method to resolve the issue:

1. Delete the "ExchangeDiagnosticsDailyPerformanceLog" key from the following path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Schedule\TaskCache\Tree\Microsoft\Windows\PLA\

2. Reboot the server.

Please Note: You should backup the registry before deleting the key.

Hi Patrick..

In some scenarios while upgrading to CU6, a rare event id 1007 occurs. The reason behind the occurrence of this event is ExchangeDiagnosticsDailyPerformanceLog got miss from the Performance monitor, Task Scheduler & also from the locationC:\Windows\System32\Tasks\Microsoft\Windows\PLA. This lead to the crash of Exchange Diagnostics Service.

Go through the resolution steps in this blog to solve the error...

Hi,

thanks for your reply. As I wrote in the thread I already tried deleting the registry-key without success. Just one difference I notice in the blog you posted "also dont forget to delete the imported template from performance monitor." - I am not sure what that means but I also have no chance to try it because we set up a new server and removed the old (buggy) one.

Kind regards
Patrick
