Exchange 2013 and Outlook 2010/2013 autodiscover error

I have problem to connect outlook 2010/2013 to exchange server 2013 but OWA works fine for all. All other services work fine.
All clients are in one internal LAN, dhcp on and some of them get certifs errors.

My situation - all w2012 servers:

Domain domain.local all servers in domain.

AD, DHCP and DNS server = server1
Exchange server 2013 =exchange
Data server = data

mail domain= mail.com

I am not an expert so I would like to ask you for help.

What to write to dns for autodiscover - autodiscover.domain.local OR autodiscover.mail.com(which server to use for that)
Where to put ssl to exchange server or server1 or to both then to clients manually?
Self-sighed certifs is ok for that purpose? Need I to setup in dns SRV?

servers are in dns resolving ok. Autodiscover cant resolve.
Can you give some easy steps? I read tons of pages here but no  simple steps here. I know it is not easy but I thought understandable, or where to find this, this etc.

Thank you very much for any advice and thank you.

Hi

You need to make sure the name is resolvable on the internet so a SSL cert would be better than a Self Signed one.

for example you can make autodiscover point to mail.domain.com etc.

If you want to use this externally you need to make sure that your DNS externally is setup as well.
