Exchange 2013 Recovery, use OST files

		Hello
Please your help.
We have the following scenario:
A farm of Exchange 2013 Servers, due to a power supply failure, all of the information is corrupted including the backups.
So far a installation in recovery mode has been done, but as long as the backups are not available; when the users configure their Outlook client, the OST file is overwrited and all the mailbox data is gone. All of the users use Outlook as email client.
What we want is to synchronize the mailbox data from the OST files, the normal process would be to convert the OST to PST and the import it into the user's mailbox.
Is there a way where the Outlook clients automatically synchronize the data from the OST to the Exchange mailbox Database without the requirement of the previous OST to PST convertion and import process??
Any help is welcome!

If you are creating new mailboxes, then no.

You can't import OST file in Exchange. You data should be in PST file only before importing on Exchange server. However, you can use any third party software to recover data from corrupt Exchange mailbox.

		Hi,
There is no way to synchronize the data from the OST to the Exchange mailbox. You need to convert to PST file and then import to Exchange mailbox.

		Yes, I was thinking Lepide...
Otherwise, make a copy of the .OST files that have not already been overwritten, since that is apparently the only remaining source of the mailbox data.

		Hi Hotaka
Sure!, we used New-MailboxImportRequest to import the PST files into the mailboxes.
New-MailboxExportRequest is used to export the data from the mailbox, but the databases are not available.
Regards.

Well, on the basis of your current situation where even the backup file is corrupted then you are only left with a single option i.e. to convert OST data into PST file format so that you could be able to access it via Outlook platform.
But if you want to, then you can give Scanost.exe tool a try may be if the corruption level is minimal then this command will help you to scan OST file in which it will check the synchronization between Exchange and OST file and if any trouble occurs it
will resolve it right away. But if still the problem persists the same way, then all you can do is to perform conversion from OST file to PST
