Exchange 2013 Out of Office (OoF) replies not working.

We migrate Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013. Exchange 2007 co-exist with Exchange 2013 now.  Out of Office does not work ( not replay) for all migrated mailbox on Exchange 2013 in several databases. Remain mailboxes on Exchange 2007 send OOF without problem. Users on Exchange 2013 turn on oof without problem, but senders do not get oof replay messages

In your Exchange 2013 environment, in powershell, run the following command:

Get-RemoteDomain

Name                     DomainName                             AllowedOOFType
----                           ----------                                   --------------
Default                        *                                            External

Be sure that your AllowedOOFType for Default is set to something other than None.

Hi Svuksano,

I recommend you check the Exchange 2007 OOF settings first, and compare with exchange 2013 OOF settings;

Then, in exchange 2013 server, set the same settings with Exchange 2007, and check the result.

Check the OOF settings in Exchange 2007 via EMC:

EMC->Organization Configuration-> Hub Transport->Remote Domains tab->Right click Default and choose Properties

Check OOF settings via EMS, these PowerShell commands can also be used with Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2013:

Get-Remotedomain |fl

You can use "Set-RemoteDomain" to change the OOF settings in Exchange 2013.

Note: In Exchange 2013, the only way to see or change the current OOF configuration  is via the Exchange Management Shell (EMS)
