Exchange 2013 Internal CA renewal

Hi everyone, I have a certificate in Exchange that is expiring soon. I have gone into my test environment to renew the Internal Cert in my TEST environment.

What I have done is loaded the Certificate MMC snap-in, I then  selected "Renew this certificate with the same key"

The certificate contacted my CA and renewed for another 2 years.

Next I went into my  EAC and I saw that the  Services were UNCHECKED and the Thumbprint has changed after renewing the certificate. What I did was check back the boxes to continue using this renewed certificate.

Is the correct procedure? I am able to send and receive mail. Is there any other steps I need to take here?

Hi,

There are any error/warning in the Event Viewer?

You also enable the certificate...

Hi,

Since you can send and receive messages, there should be no problem with this procedure.

Renew an Exchange Certificate in Exchange 2010 for reference.

Good Luck.

Hi all, no errors, everything seems to be ok,

The only question I have now is when I execute get-transportService  and I view the thumbprint, it is showing the OLD thumbprint (but that certificate NO longer exists), yet everything seems to be working ok. So it is confusing me
