Hi,

I had Migrated Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2013 successfully on a Virtual Machine and uninstalled Exchange 2010.

The current Exchange server Exchange 2013 (EX1) had CU1 and CU2 installed, and was running fine.

Now I had planned to move my EX1 to physical server. So on physical server EX2 server is created.
On EX2 I had installed Exchange 2013 and CU1 and CU2 and I was able to connect ECP.

But suddenly after some time the ECP is not working on both exchange server and I found below error.

When I access EX1 ECP the web page is blank and when I go to IIS I found below error.

 

And when I access EX2 ECP URL I found below error.

Firstly pls check Microsoft Exchange Active Directory Topology service is started or restart this service recheck again.

Hi,

based of my knowledge you should restore applicationHost.config file from backup.

PS: Exchange 2013 CU builds are cummulative. There is no need to install all versions (RTM, CU1 and CU2v2). You should install only latest one.

It must related to specified service , and do windows update .

yes the Microsoft Exchange Active Directory Topology service was stopped.
I had started services and now on my EX1 I am getting below service error.

I had checked windows process activation service as well and it is also not starting.

I had tried with reboot but still the same.
I had checked on event viewer and found below error.

Can you add services information here pls.

PowerShell Command.

PS S:\> get-service *exch*

This error also called MSExch IS service not worked.

Yes I found the same issue as of http://forums.iis.net/t/1149073.aspx

When I ran "C:\windows\system32\inetsrv\appcmd.exe list apppools

 in my case it was at Line 0.

And on my EX1 server when I open applicationHost.config the content is blank.

So i had copied applicationHost.config from EX2 server and paste on EX1 server.

And its working now.
