Look up "split-brain DNS" or "split DNS" to learn how to best configure networking for Exchange.

Hi shototadumadze,

Thank you for your question.

When Exchange was installed, we didnt configure the internal DNS record for internal message flow. If we want to send/receive email from external, we should register the following record in godaddy server:

mail.contoso.com

autodiscover.contoso.com

We could refer to the following link:

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj591328(v=exchg.141).aspx

If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.

Best Regard,

Jim

Hi

externally the DNS records should be created as below

Create MX Record as below and point it to godaddy ISP

Create = test-networking.com to   MX   10   GoDaddyMXrecords

Similarly create new DNS CNAME for owa and auto discover on GoDaddy

mail.test-networking.com                      to         CNAME  GodaddyISP
webmail.test-networking.com                to         CNAME  GodaddyISP
autodiscover.test-networking.com         to         CNAME  GodaddyISP
