Hi,

I've been asked to set up an active/passive DAG that will be on the same site, the active node will be linked to one set of storage and the passive node would run connected to a slightly slower bit of storage (they're both still fast though :)) The FSW would run on the same hardware as the active node.

The idea is the passive node could be made active during a failure/patching and used to backup straight to tape.  Could I run the passive node with dynamic ram?

Does this sound like an ok setup?

Thanks, the disks will all be static and I thought that the memory as static might be a requirement as well, just seems a shame when the node is completely passive that it still has the same requirements as an active node.
