Exchange 2013 DAG

Hi guys,

I have one Exchnage DAG with two EXCH Server, this has been setup since a year and was working fine, last week I got my Backup failed, when going into it, I see that the passive copy is disconnected, I resume, Update, remove and re-add DB copy but in vain.

error timeout 15

A source-side operation failed. Error An error occurred while performing the seed operation. Error: A timeout occurred while communicating with server 'xxxx'. Error: "A connection could not be completed within 15 seconds.".

for my backup to succeed I remove the DBcopy.

Note: exchange on VM, I have also disable my AV & FW

thanks to advice

regards

jeff

what do the system and application logs say?  are all the Exchange services running? (Information Store, Replication services, etc) on the server you are trying to configure the copies on?  What CU are you running?

Hi,

Here's an similar blog to discuss about DAG failed because of replication network. For your reference:
http://blogs.technet.com/b/timmcmic/archive/2014/05/06/exchange-2010-2013-what-constitutes-a-failure-of-the-replication-network.aspx

Please run below command to verify that the Replication network is currently in use:

Get-MailboxDatabaseCopyStatus * -connectionStatus | fl name,incominglogcopyingnetwork,outgoingconnections

Run below command to check the value of cluster network:

Get-ClusterNetwork | FL
Get-ClusterNetworkInterface | FL
