Exchange 2013 Cached Mode

We're having a problem when sending from a distribution group after moving to Exchange 2013. It works fine on local machines as they are using Exchange Cached Mode but when doing it on the terminal server we can't enable cached mode due to the storage requirement. Is there a workaround for this? I can't seem to find any solutions that don't involve enabling cached mode.

The terminal server is running Outlook 2010 if that helps. Thank you.

Hi,

When sending the emails, the only difference I can think of between the cache mode online mode is:
1. Cached mode check the OAB to locate the DG
2. Online Mode directly qury GC server

Would you please provide NDR information when it fails to deliver the email

Thanks.

Unfortunately I couldn't understand all the acronyms you used in your post but I came up with a solution anyway. Basically I had to make custom contacts in each of the users contact lists and they have to be manually selected every time they wish to send from that distribution group.

Seems like a huge bug that Microsoft needs to fix.
