Exchange 2010 users show no free/busy information on calendar
Free busy information shows Hash Marks from Exchange 2010 users Exchange 2010 SP1 on Windows 2008 R2 Public folders are replicated from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010. After moving few test mailboxes outlook client shows no free/busy information available. Users from 2003 do not have any issue.when exchange 2010 mailbox uses OWA it shows the free busy information. Is there any hotfix to be applied on exchange 2010? This is critical for us as it is stopping us to migrate users to 2010. Please advice.

Hi, What is version of outlook, you are using, Rememmber that outlook 2003 need PF for work free/busy but outlook 2007/2010 use exchange availibilty service for free/busy information. Set an Exchange 2010 database point for default public folder database :: Set-MailboxDatabase -Identity "Mailbox Database" -PublicFolderDatabase "PublicFolderDB1" Anil

Hi, From the symptom, that seems the Web Services issue for the Free/Busy. Now please run test-OutlookWebServices command in EMS to check whether you can contact the Free/Busy URL correctly. Thanks AllenAllen Song
