Exchange 2010 upgrade - event warnings about old exchange 2003 server
I migrated to exchange 2010 from 2003, and after I moved all the mailboxes, I uninstalled exchange 2003 and shutdown the server. I still get event warnings about routing entries relating to the old server, and the EMC still shows two servers, but cant configure anything about it. Any way to clean this out, or is there any problem just leaving it.

Hi If you start ExBPA, does it show the old server? Is there any information in AD(adsiedit) related to the old server?Jonas Andersson MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010 | MCITP: EMA 2007/2010 | MCSE/MCSA Blog: http://www.testlabs.se/blog

How you decommsion Exchange 2003 server, I hope you did with proceedure, any error during removal. Which event log you are getting ?If only you are getting alerts in event log and not any working issue in environment then you must use the ADSI Edit snap-in to change some attributes in Active Directory. To do this, follow these steps: Start ADSI Edit. If it is required, click Default (Domain or Server that you logged in to) in the Computer area to connect to the domain controller, and then click OK. In the navigation pane, expand the following items: CN=Configuration DC=<var>Domain_Name</var> DC=com CN=Services CN=Microsoft Exchange Right-click the CN=<var>Organization_Name</var> object, and then click Delete. Click Yes in every adsiedit dialog box that prompts you to confirm the deletion. Right-click CN=Microsoft Exchange, and then click Properties. On the Attributes tab, under Select which properties to view, click Both. From the Select what property to view menu, select Heuristics. To reset the Heuristics property, click Clear, and then click Apply. The Value(s) field will have a value of not set. Exit ADSI Edit. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/833396/en-usAnil
