Exchange 2010 setup /pl fails - thinks domain isn't 2003 native
I am trying to install a Windows 2008R2 / Exchange 2010 server into an existing Windows 2003 R2 / Exchange 2003 environment. I have two DCs in two AD sites. One DC holds all the FSMO roles. Last night I upgraded the domain to 2003 Native and forced a replication. There are no replication errors and I checked both DCs, they show the domain being native 2003. I patched both DCs and Exchange to be sure everything was current. No matter what I try, the setup /pl command fails with the following error message.D:\Exchange 2010>setup /pl Welcome to Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Unattended Setup By continuing the installation process, you agree to the license terms ofMicrosoft Exchange Server 2010. To install Exchange Server 2010, the forestfunctional level must be at least Windows Server 2003 native. The Exchange Server setup operation did not complete. I agree with Leif. To raise your forest functional level; log in to your PDC and go to Active Directory Domains and Trusts. Right click Active Directory Domains and Trust and click on Raise Forest Functional Level. Select windows 2003. Bummer, it already is :-(http://img704.imageshack.us/img704/9522/screenshothj.pngAll my replication looks fine between the DCs. Is there something else I can check to be sure the functionality raise to 2003 actually worked?Additional note: I ran DCDIAG on both DCs and everything came back as "passed"

Image shows Domain functionality. You need to raise forest functionality as well...
