Exchange 2010 owa connect to mailboxes on exchange 2007
Hello all, I have the following real issue. I have a simple active directory 2008 with two exchanges 2007 with all features. My problem is that I need to use exchange 2010 owa for a very specific reason. All exchanges are in the save ad. My issue is that when I connect to 2010 owa and mailbox is on exchange 2007 Im redirected to exchange 2007 owa. Is there any way to use exchange 2010 owa and connect to mailbox on exchange 2007 (something like proxing.) Thank you advanced!!!!

Hi, Exchange 2010 can only proxy requests to EX07, when the legacy server is in a different AD-Site. But even if that works, the user will see the OWA2007 interface. Since your servers is in the same AD-Site, it will not work for you.Martina Miskovic

Martina is right, Exchange 2010 by default can only proxy requests to Ex07 across AD site. It is not recommended but you may try to copy Exchange 2007 OWA files to CAS 2010 in the same AD site.
