Exchange 2010 alongside Exchange 2003
Is there any change required on AD 2003 before installing Exchange 2010? Would there be any issue having Exchange 2010 on existing Exchange 2003 environment? Thanks for your time. Any documentation link would be appreciated.

Have you read any of the planning documentation on Technet? It is all covered there: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123715.aspx Simon. Simon Butler, Exchange MVP Blog | Exchange Resources | In the UK? Hire Me.

Thanks Simon. Yes i have since i posted it on this forum. I was expecting some opinion from previous implementer point of view. There isn't any major change required on 2003 DC. Exchange 2010 can be installed on a member server within 2003 AD Domain. Following blog may help the newcomers like me on Exchange 2010 migration. http://blogs.technet.com/b/ferris/archive/2010/03/05/howto-install-exchange-2010-step-by-step.aspx Masud.

You asked for documentation, not opinion. I posted a link to the relevant documentation. Simon.Simon Butler, Exchange MVP Blog | Exchange Resources | In the UK? Hire Me.

I have completed coexistence of Exchange 2010 and 2003. It was quite a challenge. Most of the issue came from AD.
